Nonato Luiz

Nascido em Lavras da Mangabeira, o violonista conta um pouco de sua vida, obra e planos futuros. Ouça a entrevista e três músicas de seu último trabalho.

Foi com um cavaquinho de plástico dado pelos seus pais que Nonato Luiz, ainda muito pequeno, percebeu que a música faria parte de toda sua vida. Instrumentalista, arranjador, compositor e intérprete de estilos musicais variados, nosso artista dessa semana entrou para o mundo musical ainda muito novo, quando morava em Lavras da Mangabeira (CE), sua terra natal. “Meu pai e minha mãe viram que eu tinha muito carinho pela música, ao escutar música no rádio”, diz ele.

Do cavaquinho, Nonato foi para o violino, instrumento que lhe deu um passaporte para o estudo de música clássica no Conservatório de Música Alberto de Nepomuceno, onde estudou “várias peças de Mozart e Beethoven, tocando com as pessoas que faziam parte da orquestra”.

Mas foi no violão que o músico viu sua paixão fluir. Autodidata nesse instrumento, Nonato Luiz já lançou 30 discos, 6 livros e se consagrou na elaboração de arranjos para músicas que não são propriamente do violão. Um exemplo disso é o álbum “Nonato toca Beatles”, um dos assuntos da entrevista.

Atualmente, Nonato está em fase de divulgação do seu último álbum, “Dobrado”, feito em parceria com o sanfoneiro Adelson Viana. Mas o músico revelou que já trabalha no seu próximo disco solo, que se chamará “Estudos, Peças e Arranjos”. “Acho que até abril ele deve tá saindo”, revela.
