Diassis Martins mostrou em primeira mão as músicas do seu disco "Fortaleza" no programa Nova Era de 1988.

No dia 11 de dezembro de 1988, Nelson Augusto recebia o cantor e compositor cearense Diassis Martins no programa Nova Era. O músico lançou em primeira mão a fita com as músicas do seu primeiro disco intitulado "Fortaleza".

Durante o programa, Diassis Martins falou sobre o processo de produção deste trabalho e também sobre a composição das músicas com parceiros como Zé Calixto, Filgueiras Lima, Airton Monte, Rosemberg Cariri, José Alcides Pinto, entre outros.

O programa Nova Era tinha como objetivo dar espaço aos aos artistas locais independentes, que geralmente não conseguiam divulgar seu trabalho nas rádios comerciais.
